The fortification of the fortress is substantially reinforced in WoE SE. In WoE, defending guilds are more disadvantaged than attacking guilds and also the Emperium is quite easy to be destroyed by the invaders. In the fortress of WoE SE, Fortress Gate and Gate Houses are added and there are minimal warp portals within the castle. Players will have to develop new strategy and tactics in WoE SE to destroy or defend the glorious Emperium.
Concept of the Fortress Gate:
The Fortress Gate is a barrier on the pathway to the Emperium. The invaders must destroy all barriers in the pathway in order to reach to Emperium chamber. The Fortress Gate is expected to give an opportunity to all characters to join more tense battle because it will give a handicap to attacking guilds and block those characters that are specialized in destroying the Emperium. Players will have a very intensive fight scene from the beginning of the siege.

Concept of Gate House:
Gate House is the important place that attacking guilds need to capture. If defending guild learned Guardian Research skill, the guild master from defending guild can recall the Guardians to defend the Gate House. If all Gate House are captured by attacking guilds, the gateway to Fortress Gate will be opened.
The Gate House can be recaptured by defending guilds and if the defending guilds were able to recover all Gate House, the gateway to Fortress Gate will be closed. In that case, invaders will be stranded so remaining invaders will have to storm the Fortress Gate and destroy the Emperium by themselves until Gate Houses are recaptured by their teammates and reinforcement arrives thru the unlocked gateway.
Tips of WoE SE:
• Warp Portals:
Except the first portal that leads to a fortress, other portals can only be used by the owners of the fortress.
• Guild Flags:
The owners of the fortress can directly move to the Emperium Chamber using the guild flag. The Emperium Chamber will be used as a tactical base for defending guilds.
• Gate House:
Guardians can be recalled in here. Attacking guilds need to capture two Gate Houses to unlock the gateway to the Fortress Gate. It is the first barrier of a fortress. Defending guilds will have to try their best to make the Gate Houses impregnable because recalled Guardians will be eliminated and a gateway to Fortress Gate will be unlocked when the Gate House is captured. Captured Gate Houses can be recaptured by guildsmen or guild master from defending guilds. Recaptured Gate House will lock the gateway to the Fortress Gate and revive the defending Guardians.
•Fortress Gate:
When the Fortress Gate is destroyed, invaders can enter the fortress freely. Once it's destroyed, it can not be recovered. The new Fortress Gate will be installed when the owner of the fortress is changed. The guild master of new owner's guild will be able to recover the destroyed Fortress Gate and Gate Houses.
